As an entrepreneur I've been responsible for recruiting and developing assistants/stylists to work within my established culture, maintaining finance and office management duties, and making challenging decisions to assure operations continued and remained profitable.
Initially I personally acquired clients through creative marketing and advertising strategies, then word of mouth became my primary new client acquisition source. This allowed me to focus more on customer retention. As a beauty professional, I've always invested in myself and my business, creating a brand and business recognized and admired by countless beauty professionals and hundreds of customers and supporters. I was honored to volunteer the use of my services for events with a cause (i.e. Paul Mitchell Children’s Fashion Show fundraiser, Back to School events, I Am Art Autism Awareness fashion show) and being asked to participate in the Delaware Naturalista's Natural Hair Expo hair show competition, winning 1st Place in both 2012 & 2013.
With me having a genuine desire to help those that I come into contact with, it only made sense for me to create a brand that is respected and appreciated for doing just that. I am most optimistic about my ability to start, sustain and grow Experience BLACK because I have dedicated so many years of service, developing functional skills, and evolving to be a better version of myself every day. Moving forward I am excited to build a business and platform to pour my wealth of knowledge and experience into aspiring professionals, contribute to raising the health and beauty industry's standards, and add value to the community in which I do business.

The objectives for Experience BLACK are outlined below:
Create a service and retail base company whose goal is to exceed customer's expectations.
Increase Retail Sales by a minimum of 40% annually through effective and targeted internet marketing strategies.
Increase Service Sales by at least 25% annually through superior performance, word-of mouth referrals, and expansion plans.
Have a clientele return rate of 90% by the end of our first year.
Add value to our community and become an established community destination by the end of our first year.
